Enhanced Seminars take place in the second floor of the air-conditioned Watkins Glen International Media Center.
Each Enhanced Seminar will be led by speakers from Women for WineSense: Finger Lakes Chapter and include small plates of food to further augment the tasting experience.
Seminars also require the purchase of a Finger Lakes Wine Festival day or weekend ticket.

Uncharted Terroir: How Climate Change Is Impacting Wine; What One Finger Lakes Winery Is Doing About It

Learn what one winery is doing in the Finger Lakes region to off-set the effects that climate change has on our growing region. Suzanne Hunt, from Hunt Country Winery will present how farming has always been hard, but climate change is making it even harder these days. We depend on clean air and water, healthy soil, and a stable climate to make great wines. And that's why they are doing everything they can to help our region replace its old dependence on fossil fuels with clean, advanced renewable energy. We will taste six wines from wineries that are working hard to farm sustainably.

Rieslings have helped put the Finger Lakes on the world wine map.  Taste for yourself why this is our Queen Bee varietal and see how food friendly this grape can be.  You will be tasting six wines total, with both dry and semi-dry expressions being poured.
