Greetings! We are rounding up volunteers for the 2008 Finger Lakes Wine Festival. Feel free to copy this and recruit more volunteers - the more the merrier!
Volunteer options include:
- Friday Night's "Yancey's Fancy Cheese Launch of the Lakes"
Volunteer shifts 5-8:30pm Friday, July 18
- Entrance – Check ID’s, secure wristbands on guests
- Help sign-up guests for toga contests
- Saturday or Sunday July 19 & 20 – Main Festival
Volunteer shifts 8am – Noon, 9am-1pm, or 1pm-5pm
- Main Entrance
- Check ID
- Hand-out souvenir wine glass
- Hand-out welcome bag
- Mark wristbands
- Bus Entrance – same as above
- Cracker/Rinse Station attendants
- Assist with replenishing crackers
- Re-stock rinse water as needed
- Help keep area neat
- Misc.
- Wine Room Runner
- Office help
- Other as needed
Volunteer Rewards for individuals (contact us for group rewards)
- A Festival volunteer shirt the year’s artwork on back
- The opportunity to enjoy the Festival when not working – Your volunteer badge allows Festival access and you are entitled to a taster’s wristband to sample the wines – simply stop by the Festival office to sign your wristband out!
- Lunch provided for the morning shift.
