GENERAL INFORMATION:

Q: What is required to enter the facility and/or the Festival?

A: Festival wristband is required upon entry to the facility through Gate 2, off of County Route 16.

 

Q: What if I forgot my I.D.?

A: You may not enter the Festival area, no exceptions. An I.D. is required to participate in Wine Festival activities.

 

Q: Will there be a map of all the participating wineries?

A: Yes, you will be handed an Event Guide with the appropriate info at the Festival entrance. This info is also available on our Mobile App, search Watkins Glen International on the Apple or Android store to download.

 

Q: Can I go in-and-out of the Festival area/facility during the day?

A: Yes, be sure to keep your Wine Festival wristband on for re-entrance.

  

Q: Is there free water in the Wine Tents?

A: The water in the tents is for rinsing your glass. There is water for purchase at vendors throughout the Festival.

 

Q: Am I allowed to bring a wagon to carry my wine purchases?

A: No. Wagons are not permitted, but we provided shopping carts at the Wine Claim Tent at the end of the day. Be sure to pick up your Claim Checks when you enter through the Festival entrance.

 

Q: What if I forgot to pick up the wine I purchased?

A: If you are still on property you would need to visit the Festival Office, located in the Main Garage or call 607.535.3450.

 

Q: Is there a Lost and Found at the Festival?

A: Yes, located in the Festival Office in the Main Garage.

 

Q: Can I bring my own food?

A: No. We do not allow outside food and beverages in the Festival area. A full list of vendors can be found on our Vendor page.

 

Q: How do I become a vendor?

A: Please visit our Vendor page to fill out an application.

 

Q: Are coolers allowed into the Festival?

A: No. Coolers are not permitted inside the Festival area.

 

Q: Can you bring chairs?

A: You may bring fold up camping chairs into the Festival area, but they are not allowed inside the Tasting Tents.

 

Q: Is the Festival dog friendly?

A: Dogs are welcome in the campground area, on leashes. They are NOT allowed in the Festival area or left in your vehicles.

 

Q: Are children allowed?

A: Children under the age of 21 are not allowed in the Festival area, no children in strollers or minors. For Historical Formula One, children 12 years and under are free and there is a Minor Wristband (Ages 13-20) for purchase, but no access to Wine Festival activates.

 

Q: Does my Designated Driver have to be 21?

A: No. We allow drivers to be 18 years or older. They will need to provide a valid photo I.D. This only applies to the Festival itself, the Launch of the Lakes and Foam Party are 21 or older. Call 866.461.7223 for more information.

 

TICKET INFORMATION:

Q: What if I lost, misplaced my ticket?

A: We are not responsible for lost or misplaced tickets.

 

Q: What is included in my ticket?

A: 1-day or 2-day tasting wristband(s) includes unlimited tastings, free live entertainment, wine seminars and cooking demonstrations. A wristband also includes access to racing activities from Friday - Sunday. Other experiences such as Launch of the Lakes and Taster's Banquet are a separate price.

 

Q: Where can I purchase tickets for the Festival?

A: Tickets can be purchased online, at the Ticket Office, or at the Gate 2 entry upon arrival.

 

Q: Can I purchase tickets the day of?

A: Yes, either at the Ticket Office or Gate 2 entry upon arrival.

 

Q: Can I purchase a Sunday ticket if I have a Saturday Only ticket?

A: Yes you may. If you contact our Ticket Office they will help you.

 

Q: Where is Will Call located?

A: Will Call is located at the Ticket Office at the corner of County Route 16 and Bronson Hill Road, or at Gate 2 after the hours of 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m.

 

Q: Do you offer Designated Driver tickets?

A: Yes and they have access to free Coca-Cola products.

 

Q: Is my Designated Driver wristband good for the weekend?

A: No, you will need to purchase one for Saturday and Sunday.

 

Q: If I bought Saturday-Only tickets, can I upgrade to both days on the weekend?

A: Tickets may be upgraded prior to entry Saturday at the Ticket Office. Once your wristband is marked and you enter the Festival, you may not upgrade to a weekend ticket. At that point you would need to purchase a Sunday ticket separately. Feel free to call 866.461.7223 with questions.

 

Q: Can I purchase tickets with cash or credit card?

A: Yes, tickets can be purchased with both.

PARKING INFORMATION:

Q: Is parking free?

A: Yes.

 

Q: Is there additional parking?

A: Yes, located next to the Media Center.

 

Q: Are there shuttles or buses available?

A: No, but some of the area hotels may provide a bus, check with your hotel for more information.

 

Q: Is there a designated area for ride-sharing or taxi services?

A: Yes, in the parking lot near the Operations Building between the hours of 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

 

Q: If I arrive on a bus, where do they park?

A: Buses park in a lot just outside the Festival entrance, beyond the wine pickup tent.

 

CAMPING INFORMATION:

Q: What is not permitted into the campground?

A: Please refer to the Watkins Glen International Guest Guide located on the Festival website for more details and the option to download the Mobile App.

 

Q: How many cars are allowed on site for the campgrounds?

A: Two vehicles per campsite.

 

Q: When are quiet hours in effect for camping?

A: 11:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.

 

Q: Can I bring a generator?

A: Generators are only allowed for medical purposes. For additional questions call the WGI Ticket Office at 866-461-7223 and one of our agents can assist you.

 

Q: Are fire pits allowed in the campsites?

A: Yes, small fire pits are allowed.

 

Q: When do I have to be off property?

A: We ask that campers leave by noon on Monday.
